چکیده

In this paper, we report the use of additive manufacturing methods to fabricate a high aspect ratio, low noise amplifier (LNA) for handheld active sensor device operating at up 1 GHz. The new form factor LNA incorporates modification square-shaped commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) into 5:1 ratio without loss in RF performance. For rapid prototyping, employ both subtractive and technologies, such as milling, extrusion-based syringe printing, aerosol jet printing techniques small devices. demonstrated 20% smaller factor, gain 25 dB, an NF less than 3 dB over frequency range GHz, comparable COTS LNA. Rapid and low-cost prototyping of medical devices using 3D printed molds for liquid injection molding.

Biologically inert elastomers such as silicone are favorable materials for medical device fabrication, but forming and curing these elastomers using traditional liquid injection molding processes can be an expensive process due to tooling and equipment costs. As a result, it has traditionally been impractical to use liquid injection molding for low-cost, rapid prototyping applications. We have ...

A Concurrent Dual-Band Low Noise Amplifier for GNSS Receivers

In this paper, a new design of concurrent dual-band Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) for multi-band single-channel Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers is proposed. This new structure is able to operate concurrently at frequency of 1.2 and 1.57 GHz. Parallel and series resonance parts are employed in the input matching in order to achieve concurrent performance. With respect to used pse...

Rapid Prototyping of Mobile Input Devices Using Wireless Sensor Nodes

Many options exist for prototyping software-based human-computer interfaces, but there are few comparable technologies that allows application developers to create ad-hoc hardware interfaces with corresponding ease and flexibility. In this paper, we present a system for rapidly constructing low cost prototypes of mobile input devices by leveraging wireless sensor nodes. We demonstrate two proof...

A Sub-mW Low Noise Amplifier for Wireless Sensor Networks

A 1.2 V, 0.61 mA bias current, low noise amplifier (LNA) suitable for low-power applications in the 2.4 GHz band is presented. Circuit has been implemented, laid out and simulated using a UMC 130 nm RF-CMOS process. The amplifier provides a 13.3 dB power gain a noise figure NF< 2.28 dB and a 1-dB compression point of −15.69 dBm, while dissipating 0.74 mW. Such performance make this design suita...

Low resistivity metal silicide nanowires with extraordinarily high aspect ratio for future nanoelectronic devices.

One crucial challenge for the integrated circuit devices to go beyond the current technology has been to find the appropriate contact and interconnect materials. NiSi has been commonly used in the 45 nm devices mainly because it possesses the lowest resistivity among all metal silicides. However, for devices of even smaller dimension, its stability at processing temperature is in doubt. In this...
